The best time to start is during pregnancy. The earlier you begin, the easier it is to build calm habits and prevent problems before they start. That said, this course is designed to help you no matter where you’re at in the journey.
-
You’re not alone — most dogs haven’t.
This course is specifically designed for dogs with little to no experience around babies, giving you a clear, step-by-step plan to safely prepare them. -
“Friendly” doesn’t always mean “prepared.”
Babies bring new sounds, movements, and stress that even the most loving dog may struggle with. This course shows you how to prevent issues before they ever arise, not react after the fact. -
That’s exactly where structured preparation matters most.
Inside the course, you’ll learn practical strategies to reduce stress, build calm behaviour, and create safe boundaries — even with more challenging dogs. That being said, this course is generalised for all dogs, and isn’t individually tailored for your dog specifically. -
Not at all.
While earlier preparation makes things easier, you can still make meaningful changes right now. This course will show you exactly what to focus on first to improve safety and reduce stress in your home. -
Free advice is often conflicting, incomplete, and not designed by professional dog trainers.
This course gives you a clear, step-by-step system built specifically for introducing dogs to newborns — so you’re not left guessing what to do next.
Meet your Instructor
Hi, I’m Seb - founder and head trainer at ‘Canines On Cue’. This is my beautiful baby boy August, and my slightly hairier baby, Hagrid the German Shepherd.
Over the years, I’ve worked with hundreds of dogs and their owners, helping them build calm, reliable behaviour for the real world. But one of the most important (and most overlooked) areas I see time and time again… is preparing dogs for life with a newborn.
“Most people wait until something goes wrong before they take action.”
I’ve seen loving, well-meaning families caught off guard when their “friendly” dog suddenly struggles with the stress, unpredictability, and pressure that comes with a new baby. And unfortunately, that’s where mistakes happen — not from bad dogs or bad owners, but from a lack of preparation and clear guidance.
That’s exactly why I created this online course.
I wanted to give expecting parents a simple, structured plan they can follow with confidence — so they’re not relying on guesswork, conflicting advice, or hoping things just “work out.”
Everything you’ll learn inside is based on real-world experience, working with dogs of all temperaments — from easy-going family pets to anxious, reactive, and high-energy dogs — and helping owners create safe, calm homes.
My goal is simple:
To help you feel confident, prepared, and in control — so you can bring your baby home knowing your dog has been set up to succeed.
